‘Needwiseweed.in’ is a site that features content surrounding issues on cannabis legalisation for medicinal use in the UK. The site is curated by Sandhya Iyer, a Masters student pursuing MA International Broadcast Journalism at Birmingham City University.

She is a multimedia journalist who has spent the past year covering various stories in and around Birmingham on issues like child poverty, food poverty and covered the General Election 2015 as well for her University’s Scratch Radio and Second City News bulletins.

Needwiseweed.in offers news-based multimedia content (audio, video, media rich blog posts) under the theme ‘Whose Grass Is It Anyway?’. The site attempts to provide a balanced view on the subject with perspectives from different people (mostly patients) in the UK.
